Volunteers are at the heart of our market, from friendly and helpful market-day assistants, programming committee members, and as active board members of the Calgary Earth Market Society.
Our volunteers are key to creating opportunities where people can experience good food, community and culture while supporting local farmers and makers; engaging and educating residents and visitors about building vibrant, connected and flourishing communities.
Above all, our amazing volunteers ensure a memorable and enjoyable market experience for vendors and visitors alike!

We welcome volunteers of all ages!
If you're a youth age 12 - 18 please sign up to volunteer with us through our partnership Youth Central's Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) program link here.
If you're 18 or over, we ask you to register directly with us through the form at the bottom of the page.

Please note our market volunteers work outside, rain or shine, and that we ask our market-day volunteers to join us for a minimum of 4 shifts over the market season. Most at-market shifts are 3 hours long.
