This year our our weekly not-for-profit Government of Alberta certified Alberta Approved Farmers Markets are home to more local farmers, food makers and craft artisans than ever before! Over 90% of what you'll find at the market every week is locally made, baked and grown by our market vendors themselves - with most originating no farther than 30km from the market - making it easier than ever to eat and support local, and take meaningful steps toward reducing your food miles and supporting a sustainable local food system.
THANK YOU CALGARY for keeping us among your favourite weekly Farmers Markets to shop locally made, baked and grown from our market farm, food and artisan vendors; a place to gather and connect with friends and neighbours, and to enjoy live music at the Market Stage. Together we are growing our local food security and "Feeding Communities and Culture" in so many ways!

Our organization, the Calgary Earth Market Society, is a grassroots nonprofit founded by local community members and vendors for the sole purpose of establishing and operating vibrant and viable Alberta Approved Farmers Markets on Calgary. We rely on the smallest possible vendor rents, a minimal seasonal staff of 1 full-time and volunteers, along with essential venue and program partnerships, community donations, and grants in order to operate. Any and all proceeds go directly back into supporting and growing our markets and programs for the benefit of local farmers & makers, and the community at large. If you or your organization would like to support what we do, please email us, or donate directly here.
We are so very grateful for your continued support, and are so happy to have you join us in Feeding Community and Culture in Calgary!
