Investing in Our Roots: Why Your Support Matters

At the Farmer's & Makers Market, we believe a market is more than just a place to buy groceries—it is the heartbeat of our community. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, sustainable local economy where farmers, makers, and neighbors can thrive together.

When you donate to the market, you aren’t just "giving to a cause." You are making a direct community investment that yields tangible returns for everyone who lives here.

Where Your Investment Goes

Because we are a community-led non-profit, every dollar we receive is reinvested back into the market’s ecosystem. Your contributions help us cover the essential "behind-the-scenes" costs that keep our gates open:

  • Incubating Small Businesses: We keep stall fees low so that new farmers and artisans can afford to start and grow their businesses right here in our town.

  • Vital Infrastructure: From permits, insurance, venue fees, promotion costs, your support ensures a safe, clean, and professional environment.

  • Community Programming: Donations fund the "soul" of the market — Charity / Non profit tables, community programming that helps make the market a weekly destination for families.

The Farmers & Makers Market returns May 23, 2026 and is always free to attend and is host to over 50 vendor stalls, live music, food trucks and our free Kids Arts & Culture Program outdoors on the gorgeous grounds of cSPACE Marda Loop Arts & Community Hub.
