Farmers' & Makers Christmas Market 2026

The festive season is approaching quickly in Calgary, bringing with it a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with our community, and support the incredible in

dependent creators who make our city vibrant. If you are looking to bypass the stress of big-box shopping in favor of meaningful, hand-crafted gifts and a warm community atmosphere, we invite you to join us. The Farmers' & Makers Christmas Market at cSPACE Marda Loop is returning for a massive weekend celebration, bringing together local makers, festive music, and family-friendly activities across a truly unique community arts hub.

Whether you are checking off your holiday gift list, searching for local artisan foods, or simply looking to soak in the seasonal atmosphere with your neighbors, here is everything you need to know to plan your visit.

Event Schedule and Location

Calgary Christmas Market 2026

  • Friday, November 20, 2026 – 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

  • Saturday, November 21, 2026 – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • cSPACE Marda Loop – 1721 – 29 Ave SW, Calgary

For this special holiday event, we are expanding across all four floors, the theatre, and the treehouse of cSPACE Marda Loop. This expansive layout allows us to host over 70 local farmers, makers, bakers, crafters, and artisans under one roof. Each vendor brings something distinct to the market, ensuring a diverse selection of locally produced goods, seasonal decor, artwork, and specialty foods.

The experience at The Farmers' & Makers Christmas Market is so much more than shopping with family craft activities, live holiday carolers, family photo booth (# worthy) and so many local vendors at our Calgary Christmas Market 2026

  • Family Craft Booth: Families can participate in a dedicated creative space featuring hands-on crafts, hosted with support from the Alberta Craft Council. You can explore more of their local artisan community through the Alberta Craft Council Collection.

  • Live Holiday Carolers: The halls of cSPACE will be filled with seasonal music performed by the talented student musicians of the Central Memorial High School - PVA Music Program

  • Holiday Book Sale: Book lovers and aspiring writers can browse a curated selection of titles during the holiday book sale hosted by the Alberta Writers' Guild (AWCS). It is a wonderful chance to support local literature and find unique reads—learn more about their programs at AWCS.

  • Pet-Friendly Photo Booth: You do not have to leave your pets at home while you enjoy the festivities. Because cSPACE is a pet-friendly venue, your four-legged family members are welcome to join you. Stop by our family photo booth to snap a memorable holiday portrait with your entire household, fur-buddies included.

  • Hot Chocolate by Donation: To keep everyone warm while exploring the multi-floor venue, hot chocolate will be available by donation, adding a touch of cozy comfort to your market stroll.

Supporting Our Community and the Calgary Food Bank

At the heart of our markets is a strong commitment to community care and giving back. During the event, we will be actively accepting donations on-site for the Calgary Food Bank to support local families in need during the holiday season. Donation bins will be setup at both north & south entrance's. If you prefer to make a contribution digitally or ahead of time, online donations can be made directly through the Calgary Food Bank Give Portal.

Make sure to visit our website and follow along on our social media channels for vendor highlights and event updates leading up to the weekend. We look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your pets to cSPACE Marda Loop on November 20th and 21st for a memorable weekend of local shopping and community connection.
